Tinicum Township Fire Company Engine Room Energy Enhancement

The project consisted of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work to remove and replace the existing gas fired hot air unit heaters with gas fired infra‐red heaters in the engine room at 99 Wanamaker Avenue, Essington, Pennsylvania. GEM removed the existing heaters, thermostats, control wiring, gas piping and power feeds. GEM installed new infra‐red heaters, burner boxes, reflectors, programmable thermostats, wiring and conduits. New gas piping, couplings, shut‐off valves and all fittings required for each unit were also installed.
