S.T.E.M. Complex Center

In an effort to enhance education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, Delaware County Community College built the $60 Million S.T.E.M. Complex Center. GEM Mechanical was proud to be one of the few contractors working on this project site. The project included the installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, insulation, piping systems, roof top units and accessories. GEM installed a large dust collection system, an exhaust fume collection systems in the auto shop and fume collectors within the welding shop. Additional responsibilities included the instrumentation and controls, testing, adjusting, balancing, installing new valves and coil connections, roof ventilators, roof curbs, fans, and cabinet unit heaters.
