Maintenance Building - New HVAC System

Maintenance Building - New HVAC System

GEM was responsible for the removing and disposing of the entire existing heating system, including all associated piping, controls, boiler, condensate unit, breeching, heating equipment and supports within the entire building. We removed and disposed of the existing gas fired water heater and flue. We demolished and provided new acoustical tile ceiling systems as required. GEM replaced the existing cooling packaged rooftop unit with a new gas fired heating/cooling unit. New water heaters, wall heaters, unit heaters, exhaust fans, and a portable dust collection system were installed. We also modified the existing ductwork system for the new packaged rooftop unit and provided new gas fired heating equipment throughout the facility. All domestic water piping and horizontal rain water conductor piping was reinsulated where needed. The contract also included supplying and installing a new ductless mini-split system and installing new electric panels and circuits for the new heating and HVAC systems.
