General Philip Kearny, Multipurpose Addition

The scope of this project included the construction of new Annex to the school at 610 Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia. GEM Mechanical held the Mechanical contract/work. The new facility contained four classrooms and a multipurpose room. The Annex is a one‐story building connected to the main school. The HVAC contract scope included the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system and temperature control system. GEM supplied and installed the following equipment: Above‐grade Fuel tanks, Boiler, Burner, Rotary Screw Water Chiller, Split Air Conditioning systems, Roof‐top units, Cabinet Unit Heater, Oil‐Fired unit heaters, meters and gauges, chilled water treatment, all refrigerant piping, hydronic heating piping, valves, duct insulation, pipe insulation, concrete equipment pads.
