Campus Geothermal Utility Conversion

Our work on this project consisted of the installation of steam and hydronic boilers and supporting equipment and systems in the Borough of West Chester in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Work included furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all Mechanical Construction for West Chester University. This project included the renovation of Schmucker and Merion Science Center building mechanical systems, electrical systems, architectural components, structural components and direct digital controls. – The Merion Science Center boiler room work included the removal of plant steam pressure reducing station, steam shell and tube heat exchanger, steam boilers and the installation of steam pipe steam boilers, hydronic boilers and domestic water heaters. – The Schmucker South mechanical room work included the removal of plant steam pressure reducing station, steam shell and tube heat exchanger, summer boiler system and the installation of steam pipe from across the Link roof and Merion connector and hydronic boilers. – The Schmucker North mechanical room work included the removal of plant steam pressure reducing station, steam shell and tube heat exchanger, summer boiler system and the installation of steam pipe from across the Merion connector and hydronic boilers.
